Then I thought, well, if I can't make a good eyeball...then I'll try the black cats (a new Peep relation apparently).
If that is a bust, I will fall back on a fall staple (used to be just Easter when I was kid, but apparently no holiday is immune to the peeps bunny factory and it was inevitable that these would come.)
Swatches were my friend this round. O.O However, I did not swatch this one...odd...because I rarely ever go into a mani without practicing first. Maybe I am gaining an instinct?! One can hope...
I think I managed to create something that looks like it could be a nail art peep...the shape isn't there, but the faces are...
I caught just enough sparkle to be like the fine sugar on the real peeps. Not sure I quite nailed it, but not bad for an un-swatched, untested design/effect.
I used WnW Club Havana as the base...a near perfect match to a Peep in real life. Then I used an SC black nail art brush and overlaid that with SH Disco Ball, VERY, VERY lightly. SO, what do YOU think?
Come back tomorrow to see what I come up with!

They look so happy! I really like the dusting of glitter on top, it makes them look like the candy even more!
